Project Description

Vacancy Cloud Specialist (Open Source)

“If you do what you like, you never have to work.” SUE does not feel as work! Apply now and experience it for yourself.

SUE is looking for both starting and experienced cloud specialists. As a cloud specialist, you help our customers design, set up, expand and optimize their cloud services. This is done on both a project and consultancy basis. You use your skills and knowledge at clients such as ING, Bol.com and Thales. The activities are diverse. In this way you guide customers who have yet to make the step to the public cloud, but you also support customers who are already successfully using the public cloud. No shortage of versatility!

You are central, we always think of you first

When choosing an assignment, we take into account your learning goals, ambition and travel distance. We also invest a lot in your development. We believe it is important to continue to develop as a specialist. You receive guidance and support from the Technical Field Managers and you have 130 other specialists to spar with and exchange knowledge. Not only do you receive a personal study budget, you also have ten paid study days per year. In addition to weekly study evenings, we organize in-house workshops, training courses and lectures to share knowledge and insights with your colleagues.

Social

SUE is not just an organization, but also a community. More than 130 colleagues are happy to help you with your assignment, study or hobby project. We regularly go to conferences in groups and fun outings are organized, where family and friends are also welcome. Various colleagues work together every week to improve their knowledge area (cloud, containerization, DevOps, automation, infrastructure, observability or security). Together with colleagues, we test the latest open-source home automation solutions or add extensions for use by the community.

Qualifications

  • You have experience in setting up and/or managing private and/or public cloud environments and solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure/OpenStack);
  • Open source is in your DNA;
  • You have experience with scripting and/or programming;
  • You have HBO thinking and working level;
  • Experience with tooling such as CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible is an advantage;

What do you get from SUE?
