OPA function in Terraform Cloud
Lunch and learn
On October 20, an SUE cloud expert will show you the OPA function in Terraform Cloud: During this session, you’ll learn how to work with the OPA function and how the function operates.
The transition to cloud-native has changed how firms conduct business, compete, and satisfy consumer demands. When you use Terraform to specify your infrastructure, your current infrastructure automatically creates, deletes, and modifies to match. Writing rules that test the adjustments Terraform makes is feasible by OPA (Open Policy Agent). These tests are helpful in a variety of ways:
- Tests assist developers in sanity-checking their Terraform modifications.
- Tests can automatically approve routine infrastructure modifications, easing the workload associated with peer review.
- In addition, after applying Terraform to staging, tests can assist in identifying issues that may occur when using it in production.
