Vacancy Cloud Engineer (Junior)

Do you want to get started with managing and optimizing cloud systems? Do you want to work with the latest Cloud Native technologies? Then we are looking for you!

As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you work on a consultancy or project basis on a technical, challenging assignment for clients such as the Police, and Booking. You will work on designing and setting up cloud solutions, migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud, automating the set-up of a cloud environment, setting up (cloud) networks and hardening cloud services or environments. You will work with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Cloudformation. In terms of assignment you can think of:

  • Setting up a cloud environment for a startup where a webshop must be hosted that is easy to scale up and must be available 24/7.

What can you do?

  • You have basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and have knowledge of one tool such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Azure Resource Manager or GCP Deployment Manager) and know what Terraform is;
  • You have basic knowledge of automation such as Ansible or SaltStack;
  • You have basic knowledge of cloud concepts and a certificate such as SysOps (AWS), Azure Administration, Cloud Engineer (GCP) or CompTIA Cloud + is an advantage;
  • You have basic knowledge of Operating Systems, preferably Linux
  • You have basic knowledge of networking
  • You have basic knowledge of virtualization and container technologies.
