Vacancy Security Specialist

“This is your last chance… You take the blue pill… You take the red pill…” SUE is looking for security specialists with experience in Red or Blue teams to strengthen our Purple team.

As a security specialist, you help our customers safely deploy cloud solutions, proactively secure their environment, identify risks (security assessment), implement a SIEM, perform (web) pen tests, or even set up a new SOC! These activities are carried out on both a project and consultancy basis. You use your experience and knowledge for clients such as KPN, bol.com, SIDN, the police and many others.

You are central and determine your development path

When choosing an assignment, we take into account your learning goals, ambition and travel distance. We also invest a lot in your development. We believe it is important to continue to develop as a specialist. You receive guidance and support from the Technical Field Managers and you have 130 other specialists to spar with and exchange knowledge. Not only do you receive a personal study budget, but you also have ten paid study days per year. In addition to weekly study evenings, we organize in-house workshops, training courses and lectures to share knowledge and insights with your colleagues.

SUE is more of a community than a standard organization. More than 130 colleagues are happy to help you with your assignment, study or hobby project. We regularly go to conferences in groups and fun outings are organized, where family and friends are also welcome. Various colleagues work together every week to improve their knowledge area (Security, Cloud, Containerization, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Infrastructure Management or Observability). Together with colleagues, we are active in the field of the latest open-source home automation solutions, but we also like to challenge each other via platforms such as “TryHackMe”, “Hack The Box” or “Blue Team Labs Online”!

What can you offer?

  • You have experience with ArcSight, Carbon Black, Wireshark, Nessus, MetaSploit, Nmap, and Burp.
  • You have experience with Linux (for example Kali Linux) and are not afraid to work on the command line.
  • Open source is in your DNA.
  • You have experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • You have HBO thinking and working level.
  • AWS Certifications are an advantage in this field especially the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certificate!
  • If you have a certificate such as OSCP, or CISSP, that is an advantage. If you want to get your OSCE3, you can also do so via SUE.
