During this session, you’ll learn how to connect multiple Kubernetes clusters using Cilium Cluster Mesh.

Organizations may require connecting multiple Kubernetes clusters across locations for their applications to be highly available, whether it may be on-prem or on cloud infrastructure. That’s where Cilium comes in. Cilium leverages a new and powerful Linux kernel technology, eBPF, to provide cloud native-aware networking, observability, and security. This open-source masterpiece is an incubating project under CNCF and the leading CNI for K8s.

On Thursday September 1, Raymond will show you Cilium Cluster Mesh: a multi-cluster implementation with minimal complexity and overhead. Cluster Mesh creates a single mesh of connectivity for load-balancing, observability and security between nodes across multiple clusters, enabling simple, high-performance cross-cluster connectivity. We’ll explore how Cluster Mesh allows endpoints in connected clusters to communicate while providing full security policy enforcement. You definitely will walk away with an appreciation for how eBPF can help you solve networking challenges for workloads across multi-clusters!
